Just want to wish all of us good luck for our grand tournament for this weekend. As the Director, I would like to say thank you very much for the support given for this event by coming for training no matter far and near and also thanks for some respective individuals even though they cant make it for this event but you had help me by arranging and the following up call through out the preparation for us. Friendly reminder to all members this is an open invitation to all members to come and join us and make this MMU 9 A-SIDE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT into a big success. IMPORTANT : CHANGE OF EVENT VENUE

Attention Teamates : The venue of our event is no longer at Pandamaran

Stadium due to PPD Selangor have book the stadium for 15days...There is been

a miscommunication among the Klang municipal management. So, the venue of the

event will be at Seremban 2 Hockey Stadium. Its been confirmed that Seremban

2 is the exact venue.Thank you and lets hope things get better fast...

MMU Cyberjaya Hockey Club is currently organizing our grand event which is MMU 9 A-SIDE HOCKEY CARNIVAL and it is just around the corner.
 
MMU 9 A-SIDE HOCKEY CARNIVAL  will be hosted on 4th April 2009. The 1 days event aims to promote Multimedia University to a variety of students in all Higher Learning Institution. This event is been hosted as the passion of hockey as the number one sports in our country.

    Job Scope & Details :

• To assist the Umpire and participating team of the game

Club Updates....

Hello everyone, this are few updates regarding some important matter need to be updated which is :

1. Our event is now called "MMU 9 Aside Hockey Tournament" which will be held on 4th April 2009 @ Pandamaran Stadium,Klang. As many ask, this are the answers this tournament is involving both boys and girls. This is because MMU STAD has given order to make this event as mix tournament to generate more talents for representing MMU for National games. So, the working committee will be involving both boys and girls. I expect volunteering basis till Tuesday (10th March 2009). If there still no one volunteer, I will personally asign you people. This is not fair for few people working for it.

2. Our club T-shirt will be on sale next trisemester 2009/2010 onwards. This is because our value members Alvin & Fid are busy handling our tournament. The colour of the t-shirt will be told later but the design has been confirm. Please do check our yahoo group for the image.

3. The election of the next trisemester High Comm will be done by this semester itself. This is because the new committee will have more time to plan the yearly activities. This election method will be as all members are given the chance to nominate the candidates and there will be an election. I just would like to wish all the best to all the nominated candidates and the nomintations will begin after our tournament.

4. The training at the stadium is still ON but I dont see enough encouragement from all members to attend our routine training at HB1. Once me and the High Comms are satisfy, then we will decide when to have it since we dont work unless u show some interest by coming training.

5. The current coach for our team is still be lead by Kimi as he is generous to share his tips and advise for free to all us. If can please do make the courage to attend the training and the fitness training. I am taking the attendance very seriously and I dont care who you are unless you dont have the courage to come. For who those cant attend, you are required to inform me or Fid before 5pm on training days so that we can plan the training for the day. If you are coming late, you are still welcome to join. For your information, Kimi is a national ice hockey player who represents Malaysia playing Ice hockey around the world. I personally watch him playing for Malaysia and it is impressive to have him with us here in MMU...Please take his lesson seriously.

as we all already know..we will go to Kuantan for a 6/7 a side tournament this week..so some reminder for this trip..bring enough clothes,bring enough money,bring some junk food *wat kunyah2 dalam bas nnt*,don't forget ur important stuff, gather in front of STAD this friday at 2.30 pm (after Sembahyang Jumaat)..pliz dont bring outsiders this time because we have limited rooms..i wish good luck to all of you and try all your best for this tournament :D

Upcoming Games & Training Sessions

A Very Good Day To All,
Welcome back to campus as all of us was away for exams and holidays. Here I would like to inform each members that the training schedule for this semester would be :

Tuesday & Thursday : 8pm @ HB1 Field

We also be having training on weekends which is we are conducting training at stadium on every last weekend of each month. This is will be start soon as everyone should be alert on the updates.
The club is now welcoming new members from January Intake to join us for our training.

These are some issues came to my attention which been propose to me by our members and this are the explanations :

1. Regarding Having Our Very Own Coach.
- Dear members, me and Fid had consulted 2 coach for our team which is 1 is for fitness and 1 is for tactical. The main problems the club have is that lack of attendance from members itself. So just imagine if a coach comes to coach us but there is only 10 of us there will be no use having a coach.

2. Turf Training.
- Its been decided that the cost of the stadium and also the transportation will be manage by ourselves which is everyone of us should share by putting some money in.

3. Allowance & SAPS Points
-There are some members are very keen on the issue of allowance.So, I would like to say that we the High Comm had send our paper work to the management and till now there is no response for it till yet due to some major issues came up without us knowing about it. So I would like humbly would like to say is that you will get your allowance and SAPS points before this semester ends with a condition you give 95% of attendance to the club. If you fail to do so,please do not bother us.(Hehehe)

4. Team Spirit
- I am requesting to all members to be close to each other by keeping in touch with each other.This is because this will gain a good sportsmanship and good team understanding among members as we train and have fun seeking knowledge here in MMU. (P/S : If u see a club member,please do make the initiative to greet...) I also seek everyone to contribute to make our club a success. Please do attend training as the days as above and less giving excuses for not attending as we are monitoring the attendance...(Garang nye..)

Team : 1 boys & 1 girls team.

date : Yet to be discuss
